For Italtel, the CRM is a collector of all information related to customers: both that concerning interactions and that related to sales data.
About us
Italtel is a multinational ICT group with around 1,500 employees, one third of whom are based abroad.
Its core business focuses on the design, development, and implementation of communication networks and the provision of digital transformation solutions built by integrating state-of-the-art technologies, which can be developed either in its own labs or within its ecosystem of partners. The picture is completed by the delivery of innovative services for infrastructure design and engineering, network automation and security, and a strong focus on innovative areas such as Hybrid Cloud, Cybersecurity, 5G, UBB, IoT, Digital Workspace, Analytics & Automation.
In the first phase of the project, Microsoft Dynamics CE was migrated from the on-premise version to the cloud-based one. At the same time, following the customer’s guidelines, the system was customized to fit the company’s business model, which is based on the management of comprehensive commercial negotiations lasting several years. The changes introduced have effectively configured the CRM as a customer Data Hub, that is, a collector of all information related to customers — both those concerning the relationships and interactions that Italtel maintains with them, and the quantitative ones, meaning the sales data and the costs incurred for the implementation of each individual commercial initiative.

The Project
